An online shop that sells day and night

An e-commerce website lets you sell your products online: your customers browse the catalogue, fill their basket, pay online and receive a confirmation by email. On your side, you manage orders, stock and products from an administration area.

Novexa Digital builds tailor-made online shops for retailers, makers and brands in Mons, Hainaut and across Belgium, with the payment methods your customers use every day, such as Bancontact and bank cards.

What your e-commerce website includes

  • a product catalogue with photos, descriptions and prices;
  • a basket and a simple checkout, designed for smartphones;
  • secure online payment (Bancontact, card…);
  • order and stock management;
  • automatic emails, including the order confirmation;
  • a tailor-made design that shows your products at their best;
  • an SEO foundation for your product and category pages.

An online shop must also display the legal information required for distance selling: terms and conditions of sale, privacy policy, the right of withdrawal for consumers, and prices including VAT for private customers. We add them based on the texts you provide.

Timeframe and price

Allow 4 to 6 weeks on average for an online shop, depending on the number of products and features. Prices start at €2,490 excl. VAT (21% VAT on top), and the exact amount is set out in a free quotation, valid for 30 days. The payment provider’s fees, charged on each sale, come on top of these amounts.

A shop needs regular care. The E-commerce plan includes hosting, the domain name, the SSL certificate, backups, security updates, maintenance, shop monitoring, up to 1 hour of small changes per month and priority support. See hosting and maintenance.

How does the project work?

  1. Free initial conversation about your products, your customers, delivery and payment.
  2. A detailed quotation, then a 30% deposit.
  3. Mock-ups of the key pages (home, category, product, basket) for your approval.
  4. Development of the shop, adding products and test orders.
  5. Go-live, followed by shop monitoring.

Off-the-shelf platform or tailor-made shop?

Off-the-shelf platforms suit some projects, especially when starting out with very few products. A tailor-made shop makes sense when you want a design that reflects your brand, a fast website and features adapted to the way you work, without depending on a platform’s choices.

Frequently asked questions

All frequently asked questions
Which payment methods can I offer?

The online payment methods commonly used in Belgium, such as Bancontact and bank cards, through a secure payment provider. That provider’s fees are charged on each sale.

How many products can I sell?

There is no fixed limit: the number of products and categories is agreed with you, as it affects the set-up time and therefore the quotation.

Will my shop display the mandatory legal information?

Yes: the shop includes the required pages (terms and conditions of sale, privacy policy, right of withdrawal for consumers) based on the texts you provide. Their legal content remains your responsibility: if in doubt, have them reviewed by a lawyer.
